Together We Are Better
WAAG is building good relationships within our community and beyond. The Sheriff’s Department is one such relationship! They recently contacted WAAG when this sweet female chocolate Lab mix needed help finding her way back home. WAAG was able to provide her a safe place to stay while we went to work to locate her family. We are happy to report she’s home again. Thank you Sheriff’s Department for contacting WAAG for help and thank you to everyone involved in getting this girl back home. Teamwork = Success!
TNR Team
As of mid-March our TNR Team has added 16 more cats to the “Cats Who Are No Longer Breeding” list. We have another 8 “hopefuls” we wish to add before the month ends. It is such a feeling of accomplishment to know that we are reaching people who realize the importance of ending the breeding cycle, vaccinating and stabilizing feral colonies. Each cat we are able to TNR literally saves thousands of cats from being euthanized in shelters every year and makes space available for adoptable animals to find their fur-ever home. We are grateful for the communities support and our TNR Team for making a difference in the lives of these cats.
