Taking a lost animal into your home is not always possible but sometimes you can find a way to help anyway.
Frankie, our blue-eyed cat (had to be his name, right?), was lucky enough to find himself at the doorstep of a just such a woman. He was lost, hungry and obviously needed a little help. She could fill his belly with food while she looked someone to offer him what she could not - a place to stay! Hoping to find this friendly boy’s family she shared pictures of him on WAAG’s Facebook page. WAAG was able to find a foster family to keep him safe while the search continues for his family.
Sometimes lending a helping hand is short and sweet . . . “Hey, you missing a dog?” on WAAG’s Facebook page is all it took to reunite this lost dog with her family. It was just THAT quick for this sleek red girl, who got herself lost in the hills above the golf course. Her family was grateful that someone took the time to keep her safe until they were reunited.
Sometimes helping doesn’t take much effort, sometimes it’s a little more complicated but it is ALWAYS appreciated. Reaching out to WAAG is always an option when you want to help but can’t or not sure how.
