Locals attending the Bald Eagle Days on Saturday stopped by the WAAG booth to say hello and introduced us to their fur-babies! Fresh water and milk bones were popular items for our four-legged friends! Our Financial Aid Applications were also a hit with those who had plans to spay or neuter their pets. The discounts offered through our Financial Aid Program can be used at any veterinary clinic. The community was very supportive of WAAG’s efforts to help animals, whether they be strays, feral cats or their own pets. We appreciated those who showed their support by dropping a few dollars in our donation jar or bought our greeting cards featuring cats in Wahkiakum county that we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Others offered words of encouragement and thanks, letting us know that we are making a difference. It was good to see people come together and celebrate, after all the challenges we’ve faced this past year. WAAG is proud to be a part of this amazing little town. We look forward to more events and making new friends!
